Curva 44"
This fan is great, except for working the controls. We wanted to install the fan in our kids' room, and have it on a wall switch, instead of a remote control. So, we bought a wall switch from Home Depot, and installed it, with a lot of work, to work with the fan. No problems. Except that somehow the fan is moving in the wrong direction, and we want to reverse it.
There's no manual switch on the actual fan itself, so that we can climb on a chair, and just flick a switch! We disabled the remote control when we installed the fan initially, because we had another Emerson fan in the next room, and whenever we'd use THAT remote control to turn on the light, the light would flick on in our kids' room!
Not fun, when you want to go into the bedroom, and end up turning on the kids' overhead light, waking them up! So, we disabled the remote control function entirely in the Curva in the kids' room. So, now my husband has to take the entire fan apart, and re-do the wiring to enable the remote control, so that we can press the "reverse" button on the remote, to get it to run the right way!
The fan itself is great - quiet, runs well, but to operate it, not fun. The remote controls aren't intuitive, and something like a manual switch (which our other fans, from another manufacturer have) would solve my current problem. Bad design on that score.
