Hampton Bay Redington IV Model # 523905

by Chuck Nuzzo
(Lake Station,In.)

We built our home in 2005 and purchased all our lighting from Home Depot, we paid for all the lighting out of our pockets and turned in the receipt to the builder to get reimbursed so of course he kept the receipts for his records.

Our ceiling fan went out(THE MOTOR) we called Home Depot and spoke with a gentleman and he told my husband to bring it in and speak to the manager and he would be able to exchange out the fan, so my husband did that just to be told they would not do anything for him because we didn't have the receipt.

Well I know Home Depot is the only store that sells this brand name of ceiling fans Hampton Bay and they will not back up their product if something goes wrong with it so I recommend that you don't purchase from Home Depot or a Hampton Bay because they will not last.

I have all my other receipts and we spent 900.00 on lighting and another 800.00 on window treatments just for the front 2 windows and a shade for the front door and they cannot replace a ceiling fan(sad). I went to Lowe's and purchased another ceiling fan and believe me I will not go back to Home Depot for only reasons when they will not back up their products.
