Harbor Breeze Avian Ceiling Fan

Pros and Cons Of the Harbor breeze avian ceiling fan:
- Looks great.
- Lousy directions - need to read a lot between the lines. I've installed several fans before, this took me 3-4 hours.
- Difficult to get connection wires up into the wire box after the receiver unit is installed.
- After fan was completely installed I discovered that fan housing was warped. Since the edge of the housing rotates immediately adjacent to the stationary light globe, the warp is very noticeable.
- Furthermore, the fan makes a "wum-wum" sound which increases in frequency with higher speeds. I believe the sound is related to the warp.
I bought two of these, I am hoping that the second one is not warped and that it won't make the noise, because I really like the remote, the look and the price.
Also the light switch on the fan acts as a dimmer. Initially when you first power the fan the light is very dim - you need to hold down the light control. This feature is nice but not documented anywhere in the manual.
The translation in the manual is dismal. For example, they refer to the "land" wire but also the ground wire.
