Harbor Breeze

We purchased a Harbor Breeze wet rated fan for our back porch a while back. When we opened the box the globe for the lighting kit was cracked so we decided not to use it at that time.

I stored the light kit in the garage thinking I could just get a replacement globe from Lowe's where we bought it later on. Surely Lowe's would carry replacement globes for the fans they carry and if not Harbor Breeze would have a web site where one could order such a part right? WRONG!

Lowe's has the replacement light kit for $34.00 and Harbor Breeze has no such web site! So we are stuck with paying $34.00 for a $2-3 part or not using the light kit. What a rip off!!!

If you are purchasing a fan make sure the brand you buy is supported by some sort of web site or the store you purchase it at carrys replacement parts.
