Wiring directions a bit confusing to follow when installing to be controlled by the pull chain. Ceilign fan instructions tell you to tuck all wires back into the outlet box. This is almost impossible because the hole that you need to feed the wires through to get them into the outlet box is about the diameter of a nickel and blocked by the top plate above the motor.

Hunter tech support line is a joke:
1st try, after on hold for 12 minutes, followed he prompts to leave a call back phone number only get the message "your message can not be delivered," then being cut off.

2nd try, "sorry, our tech support department is closed." Is it closed for lunch, vacation, or a bathroom break? ? ?

3rd try, called the HQ number. told that he tech support dept is "in a meeting." Then asked "would I like to talk to a manager?" Replying yes, I was switched to another line and got the managers voice mail, not a manager.

4th try, a few hour later, got the same results as the 1st try.

This fan is going back to Menards. My daughter just moved into a new town house and needs fans in 5 rooms. That will be a total of 6 NON HUNTER fans being installed
