Sold for life? You 'bout to kick the bucket? I've had a Hunter fan for 3.5 years. Beautiful, quiet. Suddenly one morning, the fan would not turn. Nothing. Got our expert fix-it man over here (he's a wiz with anything mechanical) and he said the motor is burned up. Said he's had the same experience and that he wishes they still made them like they used to. Saw a similar posting on this site, saying he wished he could get a Hunter like they made 15-20 years ago. My question is, Who does make a good fan? I don't want to spend $100 every 3 years on a ceiling fan.
