Hunter Model 23457 Rosemont

by Katherine
(Durham, NC, USA)

Terrible problem with Hunter fan. A device is only as good as its weakest part. Unfortunately, this nice fan failed in about 4 years because of a $1.95 part in the solid state remote control receiver, causing the light to blink and fail, and making the remote unusable. Hunter offered replace the entire receiver for $50 with no guarantee that it would not fail again.

Also, even when the fan worked, it only allowed 2 60-watt bulbs, not enough for adequate light for the room.

Because of Hunter's bad service and lousy engineering, I will not buy another Hunter fan.
