Making an experiment
by: Jasonchen

You may ask Hunter to make an experiment. Trying to take the quite fan in another room to replace the problem one. If the fan operated still normally, the problem could lay in Hunter. On the contrary, this model of fan could be unsuitable to hang at the place in this room.

they right the wrong
by: Anonymous

Hunter has a life time warrantee on their motors. I called their number and got the fan replaced. It took three replacement fans before we got a quite one. This is over a time span of several months. The last fan was a different model that seemed to have a bigger motor and it is wisper quiet. Hunter paid for Fedex to ship the three fans to me and fedex to ship two fans back to them. I only paid to ship one fan motor back to them. So if you have a noisy fan take them up on their warrantee.
