"Whisper quiet" just how quiet are they supposed to be?

We purchased a Hunter ceiling fan, 52" dia five blade, nickle finish and dome light.As a matter of fact we purchased two of these one for each bedroom. one is very quiet at all speeds and the orher has a humming noise or vibration at all speeds.

A lite noise at low speed and a loud humming at high speed. The noise is annoying and you can not fall asleep with the fan on.

Hunter has replaced this fan twice and each replacement fan has the same problem. The fans work well and quiet when the blades are not attached. Does anyone else have this annoying noise coming from their Hunter fans or am I the only one getting their lemons?

I think they cheaped out and made the motor too small for the diameter and pitch of the blades. More profit at the expense of the customer. Ift the fans were ment to be noisy then why state whisper quiet on the boxes and paper work.
