White Harbor Breeze ceiling fan

I purchased a white Harbor Breeze ceiling fan for my bedroom a few years ago at Lowe's. I paid someone to install it. The next day, it would only turn on the lowest possible speed (seems even slower than low). Instead of paying someone to come back, uninstall it, return it to Lowe's, get a new fan and pay someone to install fan #2, I decided I would just replace the switch.

I did and nothing happened. It still only works in slow motion. When I spoke to a Lowe's employee, he told me that Harbor Breeze makes an inferior product. I decided to live with it and have wished every day that I hadn't! What a waste of money! I only buy Hunter ceiling fans now.
